What are your fears?

I am scared of heights and I do not want to go in tall buildings. I guess I am not comfortable and I tend to think about negative things when I am in high places. There was this instance in high school where we were required to climb tall fences and obstacles as part of our training but I refused to comply and I got a failing grade. It was a good thing that my professor considered because he knows that I excel in other sports activities that does not require climbing or being in high places.

I also have fear of flying. If I have a choice I will always travel in land or water than in air. I always get paranoid when the plane takes off. I have to blame lots of movies featuring plane crash that’s the reason why I cannot get over with this fear. Recently we are required to attend a conference and we have to ride a plane so that we can arrive earlier in the place of venue. The group agreed to ride the plane so that it will be more comfortable. I have no choice but to board the plane even if it means making a fool of my self when someone notices me turning pale while flying. I do not I have so many fears.

Another funny thing is that I have a phobia with doctors and hospitals. I have never been admitted to the hospital before. I guess I really try to focus my mind that I am healthy and I will never get sick so that I will never be a patient in the hospital. But you know what I ended up marrying a doctor. I never knew he was a doctor until later when he told me everything. He needed an alibi in order to get to know me better. I guess I learned to overcome one of my fears and that is my phobia with doctors.

Now we are planning our anniversary, I purchased a really special gift that I saw online in a groomsmen gifts and bridesmaid gifts’ site. I am so thankful that he is also helping me to overcome my other fears. He is my strength and my wind beneath my wings. Last month we went in a tour in Europe. Every time I get scared in boarding an airplane he will always remind me that he is there by my side. I guess that really helped a lot.
